Meet at the new Squamish Paddling Club Boathouse for a leisurely paddle out to Darrell Bay.  Some wonderful birds to be spotted and amazing views of the Chief and Shannon Falls.

This will be a family paddle so we will reschedule if the weather is not conducive to kids having a pleasant paddle with their parents.  Trip distance will vary depending on the comfort of the group - the full loop to Darrell Bay and back is approximately 8km.

A flooding tide and the inflow which typically starts building around 10 should make for a good paddle back.

2016 Social Paddle Kick-off - Round 2

Second attempt at kicking-off our Social Paddles for 2016. Meeting at the sand bar that ends the unpaved portion of Bailey Street. A short walk on the Squamish Estuary trail puts us on the Upper Estuary with an incoming tide. Planning on about an hour paddle to Spit Road and then another hour back.

Bring bug protection if the bugs love you - there are many mosquitos near the kit up and launch area. This will be a family paddle so we will reschedule if the weather is not conducive to kids having a pleasant paddle with their parents.
