Inspired by a stroller fitness class with her first daughter, Leigh-Anne decided to find a new way to stay in shape (after 20 years of competitive dancing), that would get her outdoors and allow her to get a work-out with her children.  SUP was a natural choice given the lakes, ocean and rivers in her backyard in Squamish, BC.

Transitioning careers from an Accounting and Audit background and having some Scuba Diving history, Leigh-Anne had a clear goal in mind when setting up FitSUP, do it right the first time - and to achieve this she took up training with both Paddle Canada and PaddleFit to get a varied perspective and access to some of the best Instructor Resources available for SUP.

To expand on the PaddleFit fitness and build a more in depth knowledge of movement and anatomy Leigh-Anne started pursuing her BCPRA Personal trainer certification.
